##Tex you were right that an Appendix 3B needed to be issued, but incorrect if you were attempting to say there'd be any change in the value of BQT shares. Any analyst worthy of the name will have counted the escrowed shares in the total.##
you are correct in saying this (to a point), but you'll find most of the posters here have always quoted the 142 million shares when assessing the value of BQT......that is to say they didn't have the knowledge to understand that 142 million shares was not all of the shares in the company.
BQT have always had these shares and options on display, but until they are converted most financial software only use the quoted shares....comsec/aot and NABonline are just 2 examples where the issued shares are used to calculate PE and other important factors.
Some of these bone heads actually believed that the 16.2 million shares were already part of the 142 million.
If you think that it doesn't change the value of the company you're wrong.........because it changes the market cap and pe details on the finacial software (mentioned above).
It also changes the calculations on the companies balance sheet.
Yes analysts have the brains to add on these shares when calculating value, but the bone heads on here don't ;-)
