rather hold qld uranium coy than w a

I would suggest if you are a holder of WA uranium company shares it would be very, very prudent to switch out of them and into becoming a holder in Queensland uranium companies!

Now that Queensland's Premier, Peter Beattie has given the green light to uranium mining in Queensland we can be certain (CERTAIN!) that uranium mining will happen in Queensland.

Beattie would not announce this without heads up to Rudd and approval from Rudd so it is also very likely the 3 mines policy is dead from ALP resistance.

However, the all or nothing stance of WA Premier, who believes his Government was elected on a mandate of no u mining / u dumping in WA (uranium mining over my dead body approach!), is now going to leave that State stranded and cut loose from the surge coming in the Australian uranium mining industry.

Investing in WA uranium right now, expecting to pick a winner, with the State's "head buried in the sand" approach is like taking a bet now on who will win the Melbourne Cup in 2010.
