Carpenter is so mind blowingly dumb. The list of his f ups continue.

    - With billions invested in gas by local and foreign interests he tries to tell them that they must reserve 20% for WA at any cost (?) instead of letting WA pay for it at the market rate. What does this statement do for investor confidence in Australia, and especially WA.

    - Now he says, in the West Australian newspaper today, that he wants to hold WAs uranium in the ground as a 'strategic' reserve for when WAs gas and coal run out. What a dicckhead, again interfering with the natural market order. The fallacies behind this strategic uranium reserve idea are just too numerous to list. What does this statement do for investor confidence in Australia, and especially WA. Carpenter is driving Australia into the position where the world will see Australia as having too much sovereign risk to invest in.

    - Its so laughable that he is so dead against uranium at present for environmental reasons, but he is ok with digging up the uranium and building nuclear power stations in WA in 40 or 50 years.

    - And don't get me started on the Cazaly debacle, better ask the Uranium Junkie about that one.

What is it with dumb journalists turning into politicians. Now Maxine McKew (?) is doing it as well. Just because a person can report on news, doesn't mean they are smart enough to make decisions that create news. How long before the government is full of journalists, bald rock stars, and what next, sport stars?
