Its a dog with fleas. The many of the issues with AMP aren't obvious to outsiders as most of the management stuff ups are hidden. Lets face it can you trust a management team that have been caught lying to the regulator 20 times?
The realities are that 30 years of increasingly bad management are now coming home. The bloated management team were recruited via cronyism and not skill so now there is no one there who can actually execute what needs to be done.
Of course AMP will survive but only as a shadow of it's former self and it will take at least 5 years. I am predicting stagnant pricing at $2.80 for 5 years with dividends at around $0.14 and zero growth.
