Some here are asking what the rationale is for the current share price control. In my opinion it is likely to be one of the following:-

If it is related to BUYING control:-

a) as another poster noted, it could be related to a pre-funding agreement for a specific funder to hold a minimum number of shares prior to the actual funding agreement being struck
b) it could be that certain entities need to maintain a clear percentage of shares to maintain ulimate control (less likely with CXY maybe?)
c) encourage short term liquidity before ultimate release

Most posters are thinking of buying control but what if it is related to SELLING control? Then:

a) maybe it is a previous broker who was allowed to buy into a fund raising being forced out because they wouldn't play ball with the moral side of things.

b) maybe the price is being held at this level to "FORCE" an individual seller to sell out at a particular level and more importantly before a specified time point. The way the seller is dumping large orders from off screen suggests this might be a possibility.

FF doesn't like speculation too much but with what I've been told about certain prior relationships it is possible that a previous large holder (who sold down unexpectedly on the last run-up), could be the culprit. I've seen this latter type of action occurring because of a change of Board. In those cases the p[erson concerned was allowed to sell down a holding before his resignation, which had been already signed and accepted. Trading after that point would have invoked "insider" problems.

If this latter reason is correct, and it is a big IF, then having this character out of the way would be a good thing.

Whatever the reaon though, I repeat what I said I'd been told by a broker the other day. Operationally and on the ground all is well, and current timings are very confidently being quoted ina lot of places.
