The Federal and WA State Govt have invested a huge amount of infrastructure dollars into the towns of Ravensthorpe and Hopetoun to support BHPs Nickel huge project which has now collapsed. With so many workers being put off by BHP this has had a devestating effect on the local economy. The WA Govt has just announced a $6m support package for the Ravensthorpe/ Hopetoun area.

Now relevance to TTR.

With all this nearby infrastructure in place (housing, power grids, etc etc) how important is it for the locals that the WA and Federal Govt supports any new development (mining projects) in the area.

TTR will be in an ideal position to capitalise on this situation in getting Phillips River up and running. So different to 1 or 2 years ago with labour shortage, high labour costs and other cost issues.

It is critical that TTR can complete a positive BFS and secure funding as early as possible now to get the Phillips River Project underway. Maybe some help from the WA Govt will aid TTRs quest for suitable funding. Now is the ideal time to get the cogs turning so that all will be ready to go by next year.
