it would seem that the old days of respect in sport are gone
long gone and to me - unfortunate to not hear anymore

I lost the love of sport as sledging was born and McEnroe landed on the sporting earth
what we had in sport ------------ had died since then
I'm not one who yeans for the good old days in general - but, there were certainly more gentlemanly and well mannered practices
people putting shit on others for having a go - is a terrible thing
we seem to have totally forgotten people like Eddie the Eagle --
who - well - let's say that Eddie wasn't a stylish wonder - but, he was one of the greatest things for sport and never had a snowballs chance in hell at getting a gold or anything like it
