Here's something that has just appeared on the EVM web site, some US research from Raymond James, just a small mention...
"CLEAN TECH

Two weeks after securing investor for U.S. solar tower project, EnviroMission does the same in the Mid-East. EnviroMission is not a household name even for most solar investors, but as the world's only developer of "solar tower" technology, it is seeking to carve out a truly differentiated niche in the solar space. This technology is far from photovoltaics (PV), but it is also not the same thing as concentrating solar power (CSP). In a nutshell, the concept is based on taking advantage of air movement through a very (and we mean very) tall tower located in the desert. The challenge for Australia-based EnviroMission has historically been a lack of partners willing to finance what is an exotic, first-of-its-kind concept. The backdrop here is that utility-scale CSP – developed by companies such as BrightSource Energy and Solar Reserve – has achieved only modest commercial success, losing market share to SunPower (SPWR/$24.98/Outperform), First Solar (FSLR/$51.20/Market Perform), and other PV developers. While we don't see many CSPrelated headlines these days, two weeks ago we profiled some good news on the solar tower front when a Japan-based renewable energy company confirmed plans to invest $10 million in EnviroMission, an initial payment on a commitment that may eventually reach $110 million. Today came a follow-on announcement regarding EnviroMission’s business developments efforts in the Middle East and North Africa. A company called Q Analytica (also not a household name) signed a Heads of Agreement with EnviroMission to commercialize this technology in the region. As is the case in the U.S., time will tell whether the company's proposed project in the Mid-East will move forward, but this is an encouraging step for an intriguing story."
