If the Australian election is anything to go by, church power and greed are making big inroads into current elections. Bush represents churchy groups and also the 'need for greed +oil' mentality. I think the average American will vote for Bush to protect their hip pocket and an answer to their prayers that their way of life will continue. I'm sure that this thought process will end in disaster down the track but for the moment while someone else is fighting and losing their lives, Bush's policies will be supported. Is this to become a survival battle that will last a decade? probably.
