Vlad that's a couple of times i have heard australia referred to as a nation. I'm starting to feel we should be referred to as a pacific island. Australia is starting to remind me of the old nauru,where they mined their phosphate (centuries of built up bird s___) until they had to stop because their island was disappearing.
Sooner or later china will control one of our northern ports through control of a mining company,so their navy can come visit,maybe while the US navy is visiting darwin. And we are spending billions on the JSF that makes so much noise it can't be based near darwin and is not competitive with the chinese,russian,indonesian and indian fighters. Last resort our noisy collins class so noisy other subs have to turn down the volume of their echo sounders. Pacific island sounds more realistic.
