I note ANZ chief said their was a confidence problem in the economy. Guess where ANZ headquarters are - in Melbourne! Also Gold Coast (the other place you guys always mention) is basically a smnall outpost of Victoria anyhow - just ask where they all come from - which is why that place is going down the toilet now as well.
I do not know why BHP does not relocate its HQ to Perth? Perhaps it is all the cheap office labour in Melbourne that keeps them there.
