Our Federal treasurer chucks a Tizzy because the banks wont pass on the full rate cut. I dont think he understands who is actually running the country. The banks are not obliged at all to pass on any rate cut and the closer it gets to zero the less likely they are to pass on any cut as their margins will be getting trimmed.
