Yes that is the payment system meeting date. However, according to the previous comments by the RBA, only if nothing has been agreed by the banks etc by then, will they take the decision out of the hands of the players and impose a directive themselves..... massive loss of face for the big 4 if that happens...but with the dismantling of the 4 pillars policy almost upon them, surcharge vs interchange will be the least of their worries.
We know that the RBA favours surcharging, and we know that surcharging benefits CUS, so it really is only a matter of time IMVHO.
