Turnbull has nothing. The Oz has nothing. Both have painted themselves into a corner which is beginning to smell awfully and they'll try to do anything to get out of it. Turnbull has misguided his whole party into a place they don't want to go. Both, The Oz and Turnbull (as well as Bishop and Brandis) are trying to ignore the egg on their face. They could at least try and wipe some of it off!
Turnbull has (among other outrageous things) also suggested to Tony Jones, last night, that Glen Stevens was wrong and that Tony Jones should interview him on the ABC. I tried to get my head around Turnbull's logic: "I trust Ken Henry... he's highly competent, talented, honest but I don't know what went on between him and Stevens." Tony Jones: "But he told you what went on. They are of one mind..."
Deeper and deeper! Interesting to see how it will all end. How much more egg? To the common punter the whole issue is insignificant but the antics of the Libs have become a genuine circus.
