Apparently the 33 year average for interest rates is 4.6%....

    Apparently the 33 year average for interest rates is 4.6%. Therefore, we've got 1.5% or 6 interest rate rises to get to this average. Trouble is, the central bank knows it can't do that because leverage (debt) is so much higher now that it would crash the housing market and the economy.
