floghead doesn't realise that technically anyone with a TD is actually going backwards.
Also in simple terms (for the likes of floghead) the more you've got the more you can lose, and in terms investors, no amount of rental increases will recoup a 30% drop in the price of your asset and I'd have to wonder if a rental increase would even cover the increased costs of rates, maintenance, insurances, commission etc, not to mention the mortgage!!!... and tenants needing to move to a cheaper rental as they are affected by inflation, that costs!
We're worse off than late 80's early 90's and we'd better hope the outcome doesn't turn out worse.

The excesses are slowly being drained from the global economy so watch out when liquidity dries up. Uber drivers will struggle too...
