RBA Interest Rates to plummet early 2023, page-2317

I feel so very sorry for the crowds of FHB that were panicking to buy in areas which I follow for the last 6 weeks or so.
I am finding it quite difficult to keep up with news.
But today, I read that there will be zero stamp duty for FHB's from tomorrow, saving, from memory around $30k for someone buying at $800k.

Was this publicised before and who on earth could pay $800k for a first home?

Even more emails did I receive today, with tenanted properties for sale.
