Yeah, the smaller companies with limited cash flow are certainly exposed. Alot could not recover from the covid issues and then straight into complete reduction in consumer demand from higher rates.
Construction is a cash flow game, and if you can't feed the beast you pull up stumps.
Its sad but I'm not sure what the future answer is. Someone has to carry the risk.
