While i don't agree with some of the predatory lending tactic's that APT and some of the big banks use. People themselves need to start taking more responsibility over the financials. Your friend who lives off centrelink with no job shouldn't even consider using APT unless he has no intentions of ever paying it back which i assume is the case. Its not a matter of mathematics its a matter of being smart with your money and not buying stupid shit. The people who come from lower socio-economic backgrounds are often the ones who waste their money on unimportant goods or get caught in these sort of debt traps. The fault is not on the companies i think the public needs better financial education starting at an early age.
