Read Buffetts discussion on real estate. He is big on saying that you don't watch the daily fluctuations , or even the short term noise. The fact that real estate may or may not hit a blip means nothing over the long term. You guys talk about reversion to the mean and in the same breath talk about inflation. Then you hop to deflation. Make up your mind. Inflation is good for real estate. Gold is taking a pasting because all is not bad in the world.
