SWF needs to make cash not burn cash, if they reduced their cost to trade to the same as stake and others who are in the business of selling a product for more that it costs to manafacture thye will go out of business.
Commsec and your love affair Westpac dont offer their products than their cost base.
If we run with your argument why dont Westpac go out and offer free loans to the entire public, heck they will get 100% market share but... thye will go broke.
