The Australian banks are merely businesses like any other. So if demand for what they are selling declines I wonder what will happen to the price of what they selling and moreover ultimately to the businesses themselves? I wonder what affect that would have on the stock market, Superannuation funds, unemployment, crime rates, standards of living, education and healthcare and thus Australian society as a whole?
Now is not the time to rattle the Australian economy.
