Are rates going up or down in the near future?....it seems even the professionals have NO idea.

A got an email this afternoon from a reputable home loan lender saying along the lines that the rba has left the rates on hold but it is anticipated another rate cut latter in year due to high unemployment, low manufacturing activity, bla bla bla.

Get home..switch the telly on and now the news is telly me that rates are likely to go up latter in the year.

Going to bed...its been a long day.
