    This is exactly what happens now if you have super investments in shares or other liquid assets (cash, bonds etc). You accounts value is marked to market every day.

    What is far more interesting is what happens to UNLISTED investments (unlisted property or ‘diversified alternatives....infrastructure etc)’ held in super, either as part of a balanced fund, or as a stand alone choice (where a super fund allows this).

    You do have to wonder if these unlisted assets are being revalued down appropriately or not (listed shopping centres, toll roads and airports have taken a bath).
