THE Reserve Bank of Australia says it has been directed by the Federal Government to take financial sanctions against a list of institutions and individuals in Iran.
The sanctions are against several Iranian entities and persons who contribute to Iran's proliferation activities but are not already listed by the United Nations Security Council, the RBA says.
