Snap, touché, etc. Certain reporting conventions (such as Quarterly Sales in retail) have been established to put some bounds on continuous disclosure. In the retail analogy, we can't make a criminal out of the CEO everytime he fails to report seeing customers queuing around the block for his new products. It all comes out in the wash, as the saying goes.
