Guys like RM are just a bunch of broken records. of course their "value" investing method works after 2008, it was one of the biggest opportunities to invest in the market if you have a long term view. there were great companies trading at stupidly low prices. RM acts like he was a genius for having a good run after 2008 yet when markets are booming he's got his blinkers on babbling on about stocks trading on sky high revenue multiples etc etc blah blah. Yet, there are so many great growth stocks like altium that are trading on price/earnings to growth (peg) ratios which are quite reasonable. I personally think Altium is at value between 30 and 35 bucks, im really not that concerned if its 30 or 35, because that 10-20% diff is meaningless if the company continues to grow earnings at 50% which im confident it will.
