He's mentioned NEA. Holding on the day can go either way. APT, FLX beat market expectations and went up dramatically, with companies such as BAL and SDA missing market expectations and dropping hard. When someone sells the day before an announcement, it's part of risk management as it shields them from the volatility.
Whether it was a good or bad move isn't known until the day of the announcement.
