There has always been a debate about if short trading is a form of market manipulation under the guise of something else, yet it is a legal practice.
I do believe that shorting can have a permanent effect upon a share price, look at Z1P, It has been shorted heavily and is no secret as you can see which companies are being shorted if you go to shortman Z1P is the 4th heaviest shorted stock and RBL is number 12.

It has some good points as well, if you know where a stock may be very undervalued, you know it is going to move up likely fore baying any unforeseen thing like a CR or a legal issue that comes out of nowhere.

RBL was also picked as one company that has a good potential over the next 12 months by share speculators.

But what i have learn't over 30 years is anything can happen between open and close of markets and sometimes afterwards.
