Ferrets are established animal model of a range oh human viral infections so here is nothing mysterious about the using ferrets to study Covid 19 It is my understanding the there has been some trouble establishing Covid 19 infection and disease in all of the ferrets in the trial we are all interested in. There are numerous reasons why this could happen so there is no reason to be conspititorial. The normal thing to do in these circumstances is to try to understand why this happened, refine the way things were done on the basis of your thoughts, then do it again, This is pretty normal in life science experimental work.
