While we wait for this current dip to play out I think it might be worth remembering that although burns results have been pushed out they have stated this trial is phase 1 and 2 combined.

This would mean that the final results would show safety and effectiveness against live bacteria in wounds.
If the treatment is at worst equal to standard current care with antibiotics then when we consider the suggested non specific nature (effective against many bacteria, doesn't need to be matched apparently) along with no risk of increasing resistance to anti bacterial effect , then that alone should alert the world and global pharma companies that we are onto something if they are not already convinced.

If the above minimum standard can be reached or beaten then surely the hardest part will be turning down the offers from buyers and going on to phase 3 trial to actually get the product to market. Surely phase 3 is just a larger and more diverse and in depth version of phase 2 so if those results are good should be relatively straight fwd.

And also with phase 1 and 2 data proven good officially that will likely open the doors to a lot more emergency access success stories. It sounds like our sinusitis patient had to directly request access from rce.
Surely if burns doctors see for themselves previously untreatable infections getting cleared up they will insist on continuing to access the product under emergency access if there are no alternatives.
