Thanks, great info. I was just going by what I read in Rce announcements. That being said I always thought phase 1 was only safety, although I must admit I wondered how you could prove safety of this treatment if it wasn't actually killing bacteria. That was one thing I am still curious of re sepsis. The current phase 1 trial i believe is supposedly injecting healthy volunteers. I am curious how we can confirm safety if there is no exploded bacteria left in the bloodstream to be cleaned up by the body. I guess it makes sense initially on healthy volunteers but I would think next step there will be phase 1 and 2 combined trial with actual infected patients. Even that will be interesting as would they treat some sepsis patients with placebo? Or maybe in this case they compare to standard treatment instead of placebo?
