I'm not sure what you mean by "so many shares out there". There are only 173 million ish shares in existence. Some biotechs that have been around a while have billions of shares. This is a very small number and supposedly a large percentage held by substantial holders so hard to explain the selling. Only issue I guess is many holders may be well ahead if they initially bought in sub 30c and are just bored waiting for news.
