Hmm very interesting. Not necessarily a data error I guess maybe they just bought back in 610,000 to 181000 ish between mon August 30th and tues Aug 31st? 429 k is reduction in shorted shares overnight.
Looking at comsec it was only trading around 200k shares a day around that period so something doesn't add up.
