I think now the problem is simply that the 7 June update stated
Anticipated timeline:
- Trial Commenced
- Trial to run for approximately eight (8) months
- Interim data read-outs anticipated throughout
- Full data end Q4, 2021

so burns Trial started on or before 7th June. We were told each patient course of treatment would be 14 days.

So it is now November which would indicate multiple patients would have now been completed. To date I guess the only interim data has been that there have been no adverse reactions. No news of any description on efficacy. And I am still thinking surely it only has to be as good as standard treatment due to the benefit of not Increasing aniti biotic resistance. So the fact absolutely no data has been released is definately a concern it would appear, at least to passers by.
Maybe it just hasn't been as effective as they expected. I strongly suspect if that is the case they will wait until they can announce sepsis iv trial has commenced (their original primary target) and then maybe put a note on burns at the end of that announcement.
Unfortunately it seems hard to believe if it was blowing away infections and stunning the burns ward staff that we wouldn't have been told this by now. Hopefully this is wrong and they are just crossing I's and dotting T's to bring out game changing results. I would so love this to work just for the difference it could make in the future to treating infections.
