It will be interesting to see if they can get anything happening in parallel with current programs. While it has taken time to get to this stage they certainly now have some compelling data on both efficacy and safety. Hopefully that data will allow some doors to open. Any work initiated in USA surely would bring a great deal of attention.
It seems every other week there is an article in the news about AMR antibiotic resistant infections and the threat they pose to our way of life.
There are so many potential uses for the surface treatment such as infected sores in the elderly or bed ridden? I hope they can find a way to use the fast track designation and get a product to market that can make a real difference.
