Covid 19 vaccines, even those with markedly different formulations, are immunogenic and safe such that they are being rolled out across the world, and soon in Australia. The UQ clamp vaccine was also immunogenic and safe though it had trouble by inducing cross-reactions in some tests for HIV and consequently was ditched. There will always be a need for Covid treatments, for multiple reasons, not the least of which will be the people who, for one reason or another, won't get vaccinated and for those that are immunosuppressed.
