I didn't think it would be run in series and assumed it would be run parallel but not all 30 patients at once. My thinking of the longer time frame is potentially out of lack of knowledge, i thought it's unlikely they will run all 30 at once Incase of toxicity and adverse reactions as it's a novel drug and its first clinical trail...humans may not react the same as animals which is why I thought maybe they will test a smaller cohort of the 30 then look at results prior to continuing on the rest...this is why I asked about an interim result.
I know interim results are applicable on tests with placebo or multiple testing arms but wasn't sure and still aren't if they would be applicable under these test circumstances?
