I think it has become apparent that governments and media are pretty much insistent that vaccines are the key to solving covid problem, and it doesn't seem like they are very interested in threrapeutics. I was reading a report that apparently regeneron's antibody treatment had been proven quite effective in treating infection and minimising harm after infection, yet many doses are sitting on hospital shelves unused and unless a patient knows about it, asks for it, and fits the correct criteria they are not using it. If they won't use this i wonder what else. I guess another issue is if rce proven effective we probably have another 3 years trials to get to market. Saying that a brief nasal spray application would be way less invasive if it minimised harm. From last covid announcement it certainly looks like the excitement there is gone, unless it leads to some sort of financial deal?
