I think the main thing for me is when I bought in the target was Sepsis. That is a major global issue and still our major target.

It seems along the way the Doctors at a burns hospital saw the potential and requested access to trial on skin infections due to burns. To me that was a huge second iron in the fire as it just seems logical to my non medical mind that there should be lower risk if not injecting this stuff.

As far as covid goes I think that has just been a huge, though well intended and justified distraction. It was worth investigating and showed promise but unless we can say it clearly prevents or reverses covid infection over some reasonable time frame like 24hrs it is impossible to see how it could be a commercial success.
Personally I think rightly or wrongly the pharma industry will either go with something that stops or minimises infection long term like vaiccine, or the only alternative will need to be anti viral and antiinflammitory/anti cytokine storm. As such the ferret results if ever released may end up being more of a negative.

I am just stunned that there are some out there that think an announcement of success in treating human burns infections will not affect the share price.
