There is not a single substance in the world that you can put in the human body that doesn't have a side effect. Even drugs as mild as paracetamol and ibuprofen have side effects like temperature drop, stomach lining irritation to name a few. The side effects often make no sense to scientists and are completely unpredictable. Recce will also have side effects of some kind it's just how bad.
In reality you can do all the research in the world but at the end of the day, biopharma really is a gamble. The thing is, as Recce is developing a new antibiotic, it is a once in a lifetime gamble!
