Reading about all the COVID vaccine issues (supply constraints, rare side affects and evolving mutations) I can't help but feel there will be a need for effective therapeutics for very long time indeed. But sepsis is the main prize.
We now have dozens of pre clinical data trails in a range of species, all of which indicate great efficacy and safety. Taken by two humans now (in addition to the burns patients currently being dosed); one healthy doctor with no adverse affects, and one potentially terminal patient with outstanding efficacy and no serious adverse side effects. "anecdotal" but still a great sign for me. I know there is still a long road to go until full commercialisation, with many risks to overcome along the way, but I don't think I've been more excited about recce, having bought at IPO. With such a such a strong cash position, we have the means to find out either way!
