You are correct, phase 1 is a test of healthy subjects only. They are however only testing IV administration at this stage:
Sepsis is their primary target for R327. They will move onto other infections and applications in the future. That's not to say there wont be useful data which will overlap in different trials. Im sure they have a grand plan to maximise the clinical data across all their trials
