Not really. All lab tests have shown it DOES work, if it is an issue that it kills 'good' bacteria then different admin modes may have a lesser effect e.g. tropical for burns etc or inhalers for lungs, not sure how IV will 'interface' with gut bacteria.
So IMO it will work OK just maybe too good at killing bacteria & only suitable for some modes of administration. Inhalers for covid-19 is an obvious one to me anyway as virus & bacteria loading is in the lungs.
Trials will tell in time & at present, for covid-19 anyway, time is short so accelerated trials will happen IMO, which if you read between the lines, is probably why they went for a BIG hit A$29 Mil CR to fund it.
