This is a high risk spec stock with a very long time before commercial viability, if it ever gets there. The increased attention will inevitability lead to traders and volatility, it's just how this game is. But it doesn't have much to do with the fundamentals. The drug is either commercially viable or it isn't, and no one knows that information yet. This is very much a "lottery ticket" type stock, but I think the odds are good.
