I know what you mean. Same sort of theory on why we still have the internal combustion engine burning petrol at 27% efficiency and invented 100 years ago i guess.

It is so bizarre that organisations like below are apparently desperately pursuing solutions to anti biotic resistance yer Recce seems to not be on their radar?? Surely even the recent sinusitis case should bring them to the attention of these organisations??

A group below called CARB-X Handing out grants. I guess these things come with strings attached but are they aware of Rce I wonder?

Cambridge, UK-based Phico Therapeutics has been awarded a grant of up to £13.2m ($18.2m) to take its lead antibacterial therapy through Phase I clinical trials.The grant comes from Combating Antibiotic Resistant Bacteria Biopharmaceutical Accelerator (CARB-X), a global non-profit partnership seeking to accelerate antibacterial research against the growing threat of drug-resistant bacteria.
