IMO not all the directors want the merge but they can’t appear to be fighting amongst themselves, so they took a vote and the merge won out.
no doubt the scheme booklet is going to talk us through their decision making, and then the company will be able to speak more about it as all relevant information will have been released to market
i think now that EPAs are falling into line the merger might be dead. I’m not sure AVL can offer enough shares anymore to make a majority pro merger
