Zenzen I enjoyed your post. My take is that AVL and RCF are both well aware the deal in it's current form is dead. They are in no rush, they will wait for the expert report is released and see if that convinces a few disclosed No voters to change their minds. Failing that, then I imagine we will get the "sky is falling" doomsday scenario painted by a freshly hired corporate communications company, positioned press pieces etc. Then I think it really comes down to RCF. They own approx 20% of both companies, makes no material difference to them what the ultimate ratio ends up being to get the deal done. They will express their thoughts to AVL but at the end of the day AVL will either increase the offer or walk away.
