Sabine, I don't believe AVL would wait for a formal No vote if they intend increasing the offer.

Correct. Think about a 3rd option rather than an increased offer please.

As I understand it the AVL Chairman and CEO have already held a number of discussions with representatives of large shareholders who have indicated they will vote No.

Correct. But be in no doubt about who is calling the shots here. And how long they have been doing so. And that they are fully aware of the strength of people opposed.

    Nobody is being blindsided here.

If you are a TMT shareholder, do some serious research, and you shouldn't be.

As I said, the next step is releasing the independent experts report and allowing shareholders to digest then I assume further discussions / temperature check between AVL and those same shareholders representatives will take place to see if their position has changed.

I doubt very much if this is the road travelled. The people driving this have had enough of waiting and will make a decision on the way forward very soon.

    IMHO DYOR
