Liquidity is important but I think it should be judged against the Size of your holding rather than a particular dollar figure.
But more than that I question your decision to sell your shares so soon after getting them.
The market has approved the boards decision and the sp has risen.
Finding good companies is always a challenge so why sell now?
You might be like me and hold plenty of RCG so want to rebalance your portfolio?
Balance is over rated imho. Plus you mightn't get as many shares as you think.
There will be more liquidity when the new shares come out of escrow and that will only help the sp.
But if you are really worried then sell your existing shares now and wait for the new ones? Probably a bit of that going on now anyway.
